- Arkansas Projections
This area deals with expected future populations in the state of Arkansas and its counties. It contains two types of data sets, one based on a Cohort-Component method and the other using Time Series Extrapolations. Please contact Gregory L. - County Population Estimates and Components of Change
This page is where all the new county estimates and components data is located. On it you will find data by county for total population, births, deaths, net migration, and several rates and ranks. This data is usually updated in the Spring.
- County Population Estimates by Demographic Characteristics
This section of our site contains population estimates with details on age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin. The reference date for these estimates is July 1 and they are usually updated every Fall.
- Income & Poverty Data
This data comes from two sources, the IRS County Income product and the Census Bureau's Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates program. We host statistics for the State of Arkansas, its counties and school districts (where available).
- City & Town Level Estimates
This set of estimates is the most recent for cities and towns from the Population Estimates Branch of the Census Bureau. Please note that this data is only for total population, there are no characteristics included. This data is usually updated in the Summer.
