2007 Economic Impact of Arkansas Volunteers

Historical Comparison

Numerous organizations have been included in the economic impact study during the past twenty plus years. Of these organizations five have been fundamental to the study. These five include state agencies/organizations, counties, cities, public schools, and United Ways. Chart 2 displays comparative results of volunteerism contributions made by these groups over the past five years. For this year's study, organizations were requested to use the dollar value of $18.77 per hour for their volunteers' time and $100.00 per hour for volunteer hours contributed by board members. This $100.00 value is based on an estimated average of hourly professional fees.
